Treasurer’s Report:

Secretary/Treasurer Barnes reported funds of $7895.88. Annual audit due at the end of the year. Roman A, Hutter and Fabiano to due audit. Initiation dues due from Hutter, Fabiano, VanHall and Roman, A.

Safety Committee:

No new business.

Old Business:

Vice President Covert attended annual MERS conference in Traverse City. MERS is doing financially well. Delta Township Firefighters Union is in a good position. Covert discussed ACT 88, future information and possible future meeting with MERS.

Martin attended focus group meeting with MERS. Martin stated that it was a good meeting with good information.

New Business:

Discussion regarding Article 8 of proposed bylaw change. Changed part of Article 16. Not enough for quorum. Unable to vote on changes.

Weight bench at Station 3 is open to first come, first serve.

Martin discussed possible donation to Dewitt Township Police Officer who was shot in the face. No quorum. Would like to have executive board rule on donation.

Discussion on Bruce Bond ruling. No decision yet.

Roberts thanked Union for gift for there baby Nicholas.

President Roman stated that they met with Manager Watkins to discuss contract negations.
